About the Role
NCCS is currently accepting applications for a qualified full or part-time Upper School humanities teacher, capable of teaching modern history and literature (9th and 12th grade) and writing. Candidates should hold a degree in humanities or comparable field. Familiarity with the Great Books required, prior experience in classical academics strongly preferred. Candidates should have a passion for making disciples, scholars, and citizens of their students, have a vision for the classical, Christian education movement, and love Christ. Additional responsibilities for this position will include assisting the Head of School in fulfilling accreditation standards.

Understands the practical outworkings of classical, Christian education in daily life.

Has a bachelor's degree or higher in associated field or education.

Is warm and collaborative in nature, is flexible, is a consensus builder, and has a sense of humor.

Has excellent communication and technology skills, including outstanding writing, grammar, and public speaking skills.

Shows a deep commitment to regular evaluation and growth in skill and knowledge.

Is able to perform multiple concurrent tasks and functions in a fast-paced environment.

Has a high level of fluency with Google Suite products and FACTS SIS (formerly RenWeb).
