Latin Teacher (Grades 3-9)

NCCS is currently accepting applications for a qualified full-time Latin teacher in Grades 3-9 for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates with experience in classical academics preferred.

·        Develop and teach Latin lessons using classical teaching methods
·        Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and quizzes
·        Help students improve skills and study habits
·        Teach chants, songs
·        Teach on Roman culture
·        Have a love of the Latin language
·        Have an appreciation for how Latin relates to other subjects
·        Have a desire to convey truth, goodness, and beauty
·        Show how to use Latin in everyday language
·        Demonstrate effective classroom management skills
·        Collaborate with classroom teachers, especially at beginning of year (expectations, homework, etc.)
